Profile: Chloe Tara

Chloe Tara is a Brisbane based actor still finding her feet. Having recently graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts Acting, she has taken on roles for experimental theatre projects, contemporary Australian work, international and classical texts as well several short films. She is currently focussed on creating new work and establishing herself as an independent actor within the arts industry.
Throughout her training she learnt and practised in performance the ideas of Bertolt Brecht, Anne Ubersfeld and Pina Bausch however took particular interest in the methods of Grotowski, Stanislavski and Tadashi Suzuki; and the idea of combining all three in the interest of creating malleable and diverse performance.
Her work has received much positive feedback and response in support of her stage work over the past few years, having delivered an impressive range of strong, intelligent and focused performances, which have been described as both complex and inspiring by audiences and critics alike.
