Workshop & Signature Series 2011
Backbone Youth Arts is Queensland’s most respected youth arts theatre company providing children and young people with the opportunity to use their creativity, imagination and senses to develop knowledge, understanding and skills of drama elements and languages.
Our purpose is to inspire, empower and equip young people to engage with contemporary theatre practice and to develop their creative capital.
We employ Queensland’s finest actors, directors and theatre makers to work with young people and teachers to create thought-provoking, innovative and practical drama experiences.
School Workshops:
Backbone presents in-school workshops for students of all ages (Early Years, Middle Years and Senior Years) across a wide variety of drama subjects including clowning, mime, movement, mask, acting, devising and directing.
